Care set for solid surface materials
Description
Care set for our shower elements with solid surface materials.
Areas of application
Everyday signs of wear are generally unavoidable after a certain period of use. By using the care set from time to time, light surface scratches can be reduced and a visual improvement of the surface can be achieved.
Application
Application Surface Refresher Silk Matt
First clean the surface to be treated with a standard household cleaning agent. Then attach the P-320 sanding pad to the sanding block and apply it to the surface to be treated as follows:
Take the sanding pad in your hand and sand the surface to be treated in a circular motion with even pressure (do not apply too much pressure). Occasionally remove the dust created by sanding with the STS 150 and carry out a surface inspection: Are the signs of wear minimised? Does the surface lustre of the treated area match that of the rest of the surface? If there is no satisfactory improvement, the sanding process must be repeated with the P-320 sanding pad. Now use the P-800 and S-400 sandpapers in the same way.
To achieve the desired silk matt surface gloss level, go over the entire surface with the damp sponge using circular movements and light pressure. Then clean the surface with a standard household cleaning agent. The process can be repeated as required.
Finally, clean the surface with the microfibre cloth. In general, the described cleaning process can be repeated several times for heavily used surfaces.
Application: Refreshing surfaces to a brilliant shine
Surfaces with a brilliant shine require special preparation. The enclosed sanding set is necessary for the care of brilliant lustre surfaces, among other things. A detailed description of the respective sanding processes is included in the set. However, these sanding steps should be carried out by a specialised company, as a uniformly brilliant surface can only be achieved with special sanding machines. However, you can carry out small surface refreshments yourself as follows:
Clean the surface to be treated in advance with a standard household cleaning agent.
Then attach the STS 150 pad to the sanding block and apply it to the surface to be treated as follows: Before taking the sanding block in your hand and sanding the surface to be treated in a circular motion with even pressure (do not apply too much pressure), you should apply small amounts of polishing milk to the surface.
Occasionally remove the dust created by polishing with the microfibre cloth and carry out a surface check: Have the signs of use been minimised? Does the surface lustre of the treated area match that of the rest of the surface? If there is no satisfactory improvement, the polishing process must be repeated with the STS 150 pad with the addition of polishing milk.
Finally, clean the surface with the microfibre cloth. Please note that only a "surface refreshment" can be achieved here. For the complete "basic renovation" of your brilliantly glossy surface, please contact a specialist company - as already mentioned above.
