Sealing the shower at ground level
To protect against water seepage and damage to the house, the level-access shower should be properly sealed. This applies to the installation of all shower elements, whether a floor-level shower board or the pre-coated, flat shower tray are to be sealed.

Differences in sealing between sealing fleece and mineral-coated shower element
Sealing tape and sealing corners
The required parts for the walls and shower floor are cut from the sealing strips. These sealing strips are easy to attach to the walls using adhesive and a spatula and reliably seal the joints. The sealing tape can be adjusted in corners so that they are also impermeable to water.
We will be happy to advise you on all the accessories you need, from sealing tape to wall sleeves, to seal your shower seamlessly.
Floor-level shower tiling
The final step on the way to a modern, barrier-free shower is the tiling of the shower element and the walls. Shower trays with a finished surface made of solid surface material, for example, are not additionally tiled.
The tiles can be attached directly to the sealing mat using a tile adhesive. Please note the gradient in the shower element, which is required to drain the water due to the level ground. If you want to fit your level-access shower with particularly small tiles or mosaic tiles, or if the shower is designed for a wheelchair, we recommend the optional mineral coating for even greater stability.
Integrated gradient for tiles
All shower elements have an integrated slope. Up to a tile size of 5x5 cm, the shower element (with a four-sided gradient) can be tiled at ground level without cutting into the tiles. For smaller tile sizes, the tiles must be cut into.
