Areas of application for tile adhesive

Bonding of:

• Stoneware and porcelain stoneware
• stoneware
• Split tiles
• Floor clinker tiles and clinker tiles
• Hand-moulded tiles
• Small and medium mosaics
• discolouration-resistant natural stones
• Insulation and lightweight panels

Very smooth boards (e.g. rigid foam boards) must be roughened before bonding.

Suitable substrates:

• Concrete, lightweight concrete and aerated concrete
• Fully grouted masonry
• Plasters of categories CS II, CS III and CS IV in accordance with DIN EN 998 and gypsum plaster in accordance with DIN EN 13279
  (compressive strength ≥ 2.5 N/mm²)
• Saxoboard building boards
• Old tile coverings
• Plasterboards, gypsum plasterboard and gypsum fibreboards
• Cement screeds and calcium sulphate screeds
• Substrate preparation

The substrate must be in the following condition:

• Dry, clean and frost-free
• Load-bearing
• Free of grease, paint, cementitious coatings, separating agents, sintered layers and loose particles

Mixing ratio:

• ~ 8.0 litres of water per 25 kg

Maturation time:

• 5 minutes

Soaking time:

• ~ 30 minutes

Processing time:

• ~ 3 hours

Maximum application thickness:

• 5 mm

Can be walked on:

• after ~ 24 hours

Groutable:

• after ~ 24 hours

Mix with cold, clean water, stirring constantly with a slow-speed mixer until a homogeneous, stiff paste-like compound is obtained.

Processing and substrate temperature:

• + 5 °C to + 30 °C

Consumption:

• 6 mm toothing ~ 2.4 kg/m²
• 8 mm- toothing ~ 3.2 kg/m²
• 10 mm toothing ~ 3.8 kg/m²
