Sealing set for shower elements

The Saxoboard® sealing set is used to professionally seal the edges of flush-to-floor shower elements. The set includes sealing tape and liquid sealant. Depending on the size of your Saxoboard shower element, we will supply you with a sufficient quantity of both components.

Please note that sealing between the shower element and the wall area as well as to the floor is necessary. We therefore recommend ordering a sealing set at the same time as purchasing a Saxoboard shower element.

Areas of application

• Can be used anywhere on the wall and floor in the shower area
• Guaranteed permanent, watertight sealing in the corners
• Sealing tape (width 12.5 cm) provides a secure and watertight seal in the shower area and effectively protects connecting joints against moisture - resulting in a very high level of impermeability
• Liquid sealing / liquid sealing film can be used indoors and is specially designed for the professional sealing of sanitary facilities or damp rooms, suitable for concrete floors, cement and lime-cement plaster, plasterboard, chipboard, bricks, tiles and much more. (apply liquid sealing film 2 times)
• Saxoboard sealing set prevents the penetration of moisture into the building structure

Application instructions

1. Please clean the floor surface thoroughly before using the sealing set and apply a deep primer (primer) to make the surface dust-free
2. Please apply a thick layer of liquid sealing film once using a paint roller or brush
3. Insert the corner sealing tape and possibly also a sealing inner corner into the fresh liquid sealing film
4. Allow the first coat to dry and apply a second coat in any case.
5. Apply another coat of liquid sealant to the corner sealing tape and the inner sealing corner

As an alternative to our sealing set, you can also use the high-quality sealing strip.
