Shower board corner for channel boards

Shower board corner for professional sealing of the inside corners in the area of the shower element (only single-sided shower element with channel). These inside corners are mandatory according to DIN, as the sealing tape must be cut into the corner area when it is laid to prevent creasing.

Important: The side (left or right) is determined by whether you stand in front of the shower element and the channel is at the back.

For this reason, pre-moulded internal sealing corners are used in corner areas.

Areas of application

• in the shower area wherever a tiled wall meets the shower board (one-sided slope)
• Guarantees a permanently watertight seal in the corners
• Sealing corner consists of 100% tear-resistant polyethylene film laminated with fleece in one piece - this achieves a very high level of impermeability
• Can be used with all sealing materials used under the tiles, such as polymer dispersions and mineral flexible sealing slurries as well as reaction resin seals
• maximum impermeability in the edge area supplemented by a sealing fleece - sealing tape prevents the penetration of moisture into the building fabric
• Internal corners are placed in the still fresh sealing compound and pressed on
• After the first layer has dried, the sealing corner is painted over again with a second layer of filler
