Flat & floor-level shower trays
The flat shower trays with point drain or shower channel allow easy access to the shower as well as a modern, open look in the bathroom. Depending on the model, the shower tray can be installed standing on the floor, partially recessed or completely flush with the floor. The trays can be ideally combined with our glass shower enclosures.

Advice on the floor-level shower tray
Installation options for the flat shower tray
Flat shower trays offer an excellent alternative for low installation heights, as can often be necessary when renovating old buildings on parquet flooring, for example, but also on screed. Depending on the model, the shower trays on offer can be installed completely flush with the floor, partially recessed or upright.
Installation options
- Upright on the floor
- partially recessed
- completely flush with the floor
Surface materials for flat shower bases
The surface material of the shower tray should be visually appealing, but also practical and durable. Our recommendation: showers made of solid surface material.

Solid surface material
Shower trays made of high-quality solid surface material are favoured by designers and architects. This stone-like material is becoming increasingly popular and is our absolute recommendation.
What is solid surface material?
Solid surface material is a mineral-organic composite material. It consists of one third acrylic resin and two thirds natural minerals.
Externally, solid surface material is similar to marble, but with the difference that solid surface material has a lower thermal conductivity (e.g. like glass). Furthermore, solid surface material is resistant to diluted acids.
Advantages of solid surface shower trays?
Solid surface material is extremely resistant. It has a homogeneous, closed and hygienic surface and is very easy to clean. As a rule, solid surface material can be easily cleaned with a common mild cleaning agent and a sponge. Burn marks, for example, can be easily removed. Damage to solid surface material can also be quickly repaired on site without having to replace the material.
Solid surface material is solid and "coloured through". This means that colours and textures appear throughout the material and therefore do not wear out. The material can be processed without joints and therefore has a particularly hygienic surface. This inhibits the growth of bacteria and mould.
- Visually appealing, homogeneous surface
- Seamless joints possible, hygienic and non-porous
- Particularly durable and colourfast
- solid material / does not wear out
- very stable and wheelchair-accessible
- Acid-resistant, scratch and impact-resistant
- Repairable in the event of minor damage
- Customised designs possible in a short time
HPL laminate panels
HPL stands for High Pressure Laminate and is one of the most stable surface materials for decorative surfaces. The resin-impregnated laminate panels are not only waterproof, but also scratch-resistant and meet the highest standards.
With our HPL shower trays, there are no limits to your creativity when it comes to bathroom design. Please also note the matching shower splashbacks.
Sanitary acrylic
Sanitary acrylic has become a very popular and durable material for shower trays and bathtubs. It is used by most manufacturers. In addition to the good freight and transport options and the particularly easy installation compared to tileable models, it is also valued by customers for its heat retention properties. Acrylic is highly resistant to chemicals and breakage, and light (!) scratches can be easily polished out. In addition, the acrylic white of the shower tray is always retained thanks to its colourfast surface.
Mineral colourate
Mineral Colourat, which is also used for prefabricated shower trays, is even harder and more resilient than acrylic. The material is coloured white throughout and is lighter than other standard trays.
- Low installation height
- Durable material
- Particularly easy to install
- High breaking strength
- heat storage
- colour-fast surface
- high quality and particularly favourable
Tip: Flat acrylic shower trays are a real eye-catcher, especially in combination with a glass shower enclosure!
