Deep shower tray with pump system and square drain pentagon, solid surface
Description
This deep shower tray with integrated pump system is perfect for installation in walk-in showers. It can be installed both flush with the floor and standing on the floor.
Optional bevelling
The "bevelled edge" option is recommended for floor-standing installation. In this case, a side panel made of solid surface material is attached to the shower tray. This gives the protruding tray a uniform overall appearance. Alternatively, the sides can be tiled or otherwise panelled.

The shower tray is based on waterproof expanded polystyrene (EPS rigid foam), with a continuous mineral surface applied to it. The important drainage gradient is already integrated into the shower tray. This shape enables an elegant and barrier-free shower with the highest quality and uncompromising design.
Drainage and Installation Height
The deep shower element with Plancofix pump system benefits from a minimal overall installation depth. The Plancofix Jung pump is already pre-assembled. The sealing and decoupling membranes are also integrated at the factory. A 7 cm edge overhang of the waterproof sealing membrane is integrated all around. This serves to seal against adjacent components such as walls and floors.
Overall Installation Depths
The overall installation depth is composed of the thickness of the shower element and the height of the pump system. The shower element is 6 cm thick at the edge (shower element 5 cm + 1 cm solid surface panel). The pump protrudes 8 cm at the bottom. You can optionally (free of charge) order a substructure element up to 10 cm thick. This is then glued to the substrate and the shower element. The recess for the pump is already integrated into the substructure element at the factory. All you have to do is cut your pipe out of the substructure element with a utility knife or jigsaw.
The solid surface is designed to withstand applications with above-average point loads (e.g., use of a shower chair or wheelchair).
Freedom in installing the shower and the drain position
The drain system included with the shower tray offers all options for installation and positioning.
The position of the point drain within the shower can be freely selected. If you prefer, you can place the point drain not only in the center but also at the edge. To do so, select the decentralized drain position option.

The Plancofix Plus pump system requires only 8 cm of installation depth. When using the included insulation tray, this is 9 cm. The installation depth is reduced by using a slightly smaller yet powerful synchronous motor with clog-free hydraulics.
The motor impresses with its extremely quiet operation. The noise level is below 30 d(B)A and is therefore barely noticeable.
Plancofix plus JP47014 is not a lifting unit according to DIN EN 12050-2, but was specifically designed for draining showers (max. 20 l/min). The shower inlet can be either directly from above via the floor drain or from the side via a 1-inch connection piece.
100% watertightness around the edges
For absolute watertightness, the shower tray has an applied sealing fleece with a 7 cm "fleece overhang" all around.
The overhang is simply glued to the wall and the adjacent floor. This ensures 100% watertightness around the edges.
Installation Instructions
The installation video refers to a tileable shower element. The installation is identical for the floor-level shower tray. However, tiling is not required, as a finished white surface made of solid surface material is already present.
Fully integrated electric or hot water underfloor heating (optional)
A fully integrated electric underfloor heating system can be installed at the factory upon request. Only the connecting cables protrude from the shower tray, which only need to be connected to the existing power supply. If you would like hot water heating with our shower trays, please send us your existing underfloor heating pipes. We will then fully integrate them into the shower tray. The connections protrude at the locations you specify (these are configured above). The heater integrated into the shower element does not increase the installation height/thickness of the shower element.
The electric floor heating comes with a thermostat for convenient floor temperature regulation.
Unfortunately, these shower elements cannot be returned, as they are custom-made for you after your order.
