Tapered insulation & flat insulation made to measure
Customised sloped insulation
Saxoboard offers you customised roof panels with a pre-integrated slope. We customise the panels perfectly to your requirements and your roof during production. This makes installation particularly easy for you.
The EPS sloped insulation boards are available with a slope of up to 10%. You can choose between thicknesses of 5 mm to 500 mm. The sloped insulation from Saxoboard also impresses with its low thermal conductivity of 0.032 - 0.040 W/mK and therefore offers optimum protection.
Flat roof application
Flat roofs are in vogue because they do not affect the size of the living space due to sloping roofs. However, the formation of puddles on the roof and any resulting damage can only be avoided by integrating a slope. With flat roof insulation with an integrated slope, this can be easily achieved both in renovation projects and new builds.
What is sloped insulation?
Sloped insulation are boards for insulating the roof with a pre-integrated slope. The Saxoboard insulation boards are made of expanded polystyrene (EPS). The foamed plastic is characterised by high compressive strength and low water absorption. The low weight of the boards also makes installation easier.
Which gradient?
Not all slopes are the same. The slope insulation should be adapted to the base area and shape of the roof and selected accordingly.
Simple gradient
One option for slope insulation is to integrate a simple slope. The water is channelled in one direction towards the edge of the roof. The gutter catches it there.
Counter-rotating slope
If you have a large roof area, it is advisable to install counter-slopes. This means that the roof ridge is in the centre of the roof and the water is directed into the gutter in two directions.
Multiple slope directions
There is not always a desire for a square house. If the roof area is large and angled, several directions of slope should be used. This allows the water to run off in more than one or two directions without accumulating unnecessarily on the roof.
