Description
The new Saxoboard® shower element for Geberit® wall drain. This floor-level tileable shower element is ideal for the installation of level-access showers in conjunction with a Geberit® wall drain. The board is made of waterproof, expanded polystyrene, a rigid foam that can withstand the weight of a wheelchair. The necessary drainage gradient is already integrated. You can choose between a one-sided or three-sided slope. Barrier-free showering at the highest level. You can find Geberit wall drains in the category wall drain

Drain and installation height
Thetotal installation height of the level-access Saxoboard® shower element for Geberit® wall drain is optionally only 3 - 4 cm. If an installation height of 3 cm is selected, the shower element is only 3 cm thick and yet extremely stable. The sealing and decoupling membrane has already been applied in the Saxoboard® factory. The position of the Geberit® wall drain (drain available separately) can be determined on the longest or shortest side - but customisation is also possible at no extra charge. The wall drain is positioned in the centre of the respective side as standard.
100% tightness at the edge
With this option, we leave a 7 cm overhang around the edge of the shower element with the sealing fleece applied. This overhang is simply glued up the wall and over the neighbouring floor. This allows you to achieve 100% impermeability in the edge area, because the shower element acts like a closed tray!

You have a choice of three different substrate materials. All are highly pressure-resistant. SaxoPET Eco is the world's first sustainable substrate material for showers that is made from 100% recycled PET and is also highly pressure-resistant (compressive strength 110 tonnes/m²).
Fully integrated electric or hot water underfloor heating (optional)
No more standing with your feet on a cold shower floor in the morning. That's the promise of our elements with fully integrated electric underfloor heating, which can be installed at the factory on request. Only the connection cables then protrude from the shower element, which only need to be connected to the existing power supply. If you would like hot water heating for our shower elements, please send us your existing underfloor heating pipe. We will then integrate this completely into the shower element. The connections for this look out at the points you specify (these are configured above). The heating integrated into the shower element does not increase the installation height/thickness of the shower element.
