Shower tray with square drain pentagon, solid surface
Description
This level-access shower tray is perfect for installation in walk-in showers.
The surface made of high-quality solid surface material is elegant and available in homogeneous white (RAL 9016) , grey (RAL 7035) or black (RAL 8022) as well as other colours.
Solid surface shower trays
- Attractive, homogeneous surface
- Seamless connections possible, hygienic and non-porous
- Particularly durable and colour-fast
- Very stable and wheelchair-accessible
- Acid-resistant, scratch and impact-resistant
- Customised designs possible in a short time
Water-impermeable expanded polystyrene (EPS rigid foam) serves as the basis for the shower tray, to which a continuous solid surface is applied. The important drainage slope is already integrated into the shower tray. This shape enables an elegant and barrier-free shower with a high-quality finish and uncompromising design.
Drain and installation height
The shallow shower tray with point drain benefits from a minimal overall installation depth. The drain and sealing insert are already pre-assembled. The sealing and decoupling membrane are also integrated ex works.
Overall installation depths
The overall installation depth is made up of the thickness of the shower tray and the height of the drain.
| Total installation depth & drain direction | Shower tray thickness | Drain |
| 12.3 cm horizontal | 4.6 cm horizontal (3.6 cm EPS base + 1.0 cm solid surface material) | 7.7 cm horizontal |
| 7.8 cm horizontal | 3.0 cm (2.0 cm EPS base + 1.0 cm solid surface material) | 4.8 cm horizontal |
| 7.0 cm horizontal | 2.2 cm (1.2 cm EPS base + 1.0 cm solid surface material) | 4.8 cm horizontal |
| 4.6 cm vertical | 4.6 cm (4.0 cm EPS base + 1.0 cm solid surface material) | No vertical depth (drain can be sunk directly into the floor) |
| 3.0 cm vertical | 3.0 cm (2.0 cm EPS base + 1.0 cm solid surface material) | no depth vertical (drain can be sunk directly into the floor) |
| 2.2 cm vertical | 2.2 cm (1.2 cm EPS base + 1.0 cm solid surface material) | no depth vertical (drain can be sunk directly into the floor) |
If the total installation height of 7.8 cm/ 7.0 cm (horizontal drainage direction) or 3.0 cm/ 2.2 cm (vertical drainage direction) is selected, the thickness of the shower tray is reduced to 3.0 cm or 2.2 cm. The stability remains unaffected by this!
The solid surface is also suitable for use with above-average point loads (e.g. use of a shower chair or wheelchair).
Freedom when installing the shower and the drain position
The drain system included with the shower tray offers a full range of options for installation and positioning. It can be installed horizontally or vertically. When installed horizontally, the drain can be rotated through 360° and can therefore be routed in any direction. With vertical drainage, the drain is sunk directly into the floor.
The position of the point drain within the shower is freely selectable. If you wish, you can position the point drain not only in the centre, but also at the edge. To do this, select the decentralised drain position option.
An easy-to-clean trap with removable odour trap is of course included.
The shower tray has a drain with a standardised DN50 connection (only for the standard version (11.7 cm / 3.0 cm). For the 3.0 cm and 7.8 cm shower trays, the horizontal drain has a DN40 connection and the vertical connection DN50. The connection can be easily extended for any of our shower trays.
Drain design
We supply you with a white drain grate for the point drain with the shower tray. If you would like a more extravagant solution, you can choose from other high-quality designer gratings for an additional charge.
100% tightness around the edges
To ensure absolute tightness, the shower tray has an applied sealing fleece, which has a 7 cm "fleece overhang" all round.
The overhang is simply glued to the wall and the neighbouring floor. This achieves 100 per cent impermeability around the edges.
Installation instructions
The installation video refers to a tileable shower element. Installation is identical for the floor-level shower tray. However, there is no need for tiling as there is already a finished white surface made of solid surface material.
SaxoPET Eco
You have a choice of three different substrate materials. All are highly pressure-resistant. SaxoPET Eco is the world's first sustainable substrate material for showers that is made from 100% recycled PET and is also highly pressure-resistant (compressive strength 110 tonnes/m²).

Fully integrated electric or hot water underfloor heating (optional)
On request, a fully integrated electric underfloor heating system can be installed at the factory. Only the connection cables then protrude from the shower tray, which only need to be connected to the existing power supply. If you would like a hot water heating system for our shower trays, please send us your existing underfloor heating pipe. We will then integrate this completely into the shower tray. The connections for this look out at the points you specify (these are configured at the top). The heating integrated into the shower element does not increase the installation height/thickness of the shower element.
You will receive a thermostat for convenient regulation of the floor temperature with the electric floor heating.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to return these shower elements as they are customised to your order.
