Wet room shower tray with square drain semi-circular

Now new from Saxoboard®, this semi-circular shower board with point drain. This flush-to-floor tileable shower board is ideal for installing level-access showers. The board is made of waterproof, expanded polystyrene, a rigid foam that can withstand the weight of a wheelchair. The necessary drainage slope is already integrated. Barrier-free showering at the highest level.

Installation height and drain

The overall installation height of the level-access Saxoboard® shower element with point drain is 7.8 cm - 12.0 cm for horizontal drainage and 3.0 - 4.0 cm for vertical drainage. The sealing insert and drain are already installed, just as the sealing and decoupling membrane have already been applied in the Saxoboard® factory. Alternatively, you can choose the mineral coating for a higher point load. The drainage system can be installed horizontally or vertically, whereby the horizontal drain can be turned in any direction during installation. The position of the point drain can be determined individually - a decentralised position is also possible without any problems. The siphon included with our shower elements is easy to clean and has a removable odour trap.

100% tightness at the edge

With this option, we leave a 7 cm overhang around the edge of the shower element with the sealing fleece applied. This overhang is simply glued up the wall and over the neighbouring floor. This allows you to achieve 100% impermeability in the edge area, because the shower element acts like a closed tray! A stainless steel grating is included as standard. If you want a more sophisticated solution, you can choose between two elegant designer gratings in a higher-quality design (at an extra charge).

If the total installation height of 7.8 cm is selected for our flush-to-floor shower elements, the thickness of the shower element is reduced to 3 cm. The tileable shower board also has a drain with a DN40 connection. However, this can be easily extended with any of our tileable shower elements.

Fully integrated electric or hot water underfloor heating (optional)

No more standing with your feet on a cold shower floor in the morning. That's the promise of our elements with fully integrated electric underfloor heating, which can be installed at the factory on request. Only the connection cables then protrude from the shower element, which only need to be connected to the existing power supply. If you would like hot water heating for our shower elements, please send us your existing underfloor heating pipe. We will then integrate this completely into the shower element. The connections for this look out at the points you specify (these are configured above). The heating integrated into the shower element does not increase the installation height/thickness of the shower element.
