Shower tray with linear drain Slimline + UltraSlim, solid surface
Description
This flat shower tray is perfect for installation at ground level in walk-in showers.
The surface made of high-quality solid surface material is elegant and available in homogeneous white (RAL 9016) , grey (RAL 7035) or black (RAL 8022) as well as other colours.
Solid surface shower trays
- Drain can be positioned 360° in any direction
- Attractive, homogeneous surface
- Seamless connections possible, hygienic and non-porous
- Particularly durable and colour-fast
- Very stable and wheelchair-accessible
- Acid-resistant, scratch- and impact-resistant
- Customised designs possible in a short time
Water-impermeable expanded polystyrene (EPS rigid foam) serves as the basis for the shower tray, to which a continuous solid surface is applied. The important drainage slope is already integrated into the shower tray. This shape enables a barrier-free shower with a high-quality finish and uncompromising design.
Drain and installation height
The flat Saxoboard shower tray with channel drain benefits from a minimum overall installation height of just 7.5 cm with a horizontal drain and just 3.2 cm with a vertical drain. The drain and sealing insert are already pre-assembled. The sealing and decoupling membrane with sealing fleece edge overhang (7 cm all round) is also already integrated ex works.
Total installation depth
The total installation depth is made up of the thickness of the shower tray and the height of the drain.
| Total installation depth & drain direction | Shower tray thickness | Drain |
| 9.0 cm horizontal | 4.7 cm horizontal (4.7 cm EPS base + 1.0 cm solid surface material) | 4.3 cm horizontal (0.4 litres/second with 20 mm sealing water height) |
| 7.5 cm horizontal | 3.2 cm horizontal (2.2 cm EPS base + 1.0 cm solid surface material) | 4.3 cm horizontal (0.4 litres/second with 20 mm sealing water height) |
| 4.7 cm vertical | 4.7 cm (4.7 cm EPS base + 1.0 cm solid surface material) | No depth vertical (1.12 litres/second with 50 mm sealing water height. Drain can be sunk directly into the floor) |
| 7.5 cm vertical | 3.2 cm (2.2 cm EPS base + 1.0 cm solid surface material) | No depth vertical (1.12 litres/second with 50 mm sealing water height. Drain can be sunk directly into the floor) |
The shower channel installed in the shower tray is made entirely of full stainless steel. A stainless steel channel base is installed at the factory.
The solid surface is also suitable for use with above-average point loads (e.g. use of a shower chair or wheelchair).
Freedom when installing the shower and the drain position
The drain system included with the shower tray offers a full range of options for installation and positioning. It can be installed horizontally or vertically. When installed horizontally, the drain can be routed in any direction using optional connectors or a flexible hose. With vertical drainage, the drain is sunk directly into the floor.
The position of the shower channel within the shower is freely selectable. If you wish, you can not only have the shower channel placed in the standard position, but also in almost any position.
An easy-to-clean siphon with removable odour trap is of course included.
The shower tray has a drain with a standardised DN40 (horizontal) or DN50 (vertical) connection. The connection can be easily extended for any of our shower trays.
Drain design
We supply a stainless steel grate with a slot for the shower channel with the shower tray. If you would like a more extravagant solution, you can choose from other high-quality designer gratings for an additional charge.
100% tightness around the edges
To ensure absolute impermeability, the shower tray has an applied sealing fleece with a 7 cm "fleece overhang" all round.
The overhang is simply glued to the wall and the neighbouring floor. This achieves 100 per cent impermeability around the edges.
Installation instructions
The installation video refers to a tileable shower element. Installation is identical for the floor-level shower tray, but the tiling is of course not required.
SaxoPET Eco
You have a choice of three different substrate materials. All are highly pressure-resistant. SaxoPET Eco is the world's first sustainable substrate material for showers that is made from 100% recycled PET and is also highly pressure-resistant (compressive strength 110 tonnes/m²).
Fully integrated electric or hot water underfloor heating (optional)

On request, a fully integrated electric underfloor heating system can be installed at the factory. Only the connection cables then protrude from the shower tray, which only need to be connected to the existing power supply. If you would like a hot water heating system for our shower trays, please send us your existing underfloor heating pipe. We will then integrate this completely into the shower tray. The connections for this look out at the points you specify (these are configured at the top). The heating integrated into the shower element does not increase the installation height/thickness of the shower element.
You will receive a thermostat for convenient regulation of the floor temperature with the electric floor heating.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to return these shower elements as they are customised to your order.
