Wet room shower tray with square drain Slimline superflat

With this very flat shower base element, you can realise your dream of a walk-in, level-access shower. The total installation height of the shower element is just 1.8 cm with a vertical outlet and 6.6 cm with a horizontal outlet. The drainage capacity of the horizontal drain is 0.4 litres/second with a 20 mm sealing water height. With the vertical drain, the drainage rate is 1.12 litres/second at 50 mm sealing water height.

The level-access shower elements in the Saxoboard® Slimline range are made of waterproof, expanded polystyrene, a rigid foam that enables floor-level tiling. A slope of 2.5% is already integrated into the board. Level-access showers are also ideal for wheelchair access.

Freedom when installing the shower and the drain position

The shower is supplied with a pre-assembled sealing insert and a drain with odour trap, which can be installed horizontally or vertically. The horizontal drain can be turned into any position at the installation site. The sealing and decoupling membrane or mineral coating for higher point loading of the board is already applied in our factory. You can freely determine the position of the point drain. In addition to the position in the centre, any decentralised position is also possible.

100% impermeability at the edge

With this option, we leave a 7 cm overhang around the edge of the shower element with the sealing fleece applied. This overhang is simply glued up the wall and over the neighbouring floor. This allows you to achieve 100% impermeability in the edge area, because the shower element acts like a closed tray!

Drain design

We supply a stainless steel grate for the point drain with the shower element. If you would like a more extravagant solution, you can choose from other high-quality designer gratings for an additional charge. The grate is infinitely height-adjustable from 0.6 cm to 3.5 cm for different tile thicknesses. The drain design is optionally tileable for tile thicknesses of up to 1 cm.

SaxoPET Eco

You have a choice of three different backing materials. All are highly pressure-resistant. SaxoPET Eco is the world's first sustainable substrate material for showers that is made from 100% recycled PET and is also highly pressure-resistant (pressure resistance 110 tonnes/m²).

Fully integrated electric underfloor heating (optional)

On request, you can have a fully integrated electric underfloor heating system already installed in the shower element at the factory. Only the connection cables are visible from the board, which can be easily connected to your existing power supply. The connections for this come out at the points you specify (these are configured above). You will receive the underfloor heating with a thermostat for easy temperature regulation. The heating integrated into the shower element does not increase the installation height/thickness of the shower element.

Slimline shower elements are customised products due to the special manufacturing technology and are therefore excluded from exchange/return.
