Description

With this very flat shower base element, you can realise your dream of a walk-in, level-access shower. With a horizontal drain outlet, the total installation height of the shower element is just 7.0 cm. The drainage capacity of the horizontal drain is 0.43 litres/second with a 20 mm sealing water height.
With an installation height of 9 cm, the drainage rate is 0.8 litres/second and has a 50 mm sealing water height. This means that the 90 mm installation height complies with the standard.

The level-access shower elements in the Saxoboard® Solid range are made of waterproof, expanded polystyrene, a rigid foam that enables floor-level tiling. A slope is already integrated into the board. Level-access showers are also ideal for wheelchair access.

Freedom when installing the shower and the drain position

The shower is supplied with a pre-assembled sealing insert and a drain with odour trap, which can be installed horizontally. The sealing and decoupling membrane or mineral coating for higher point loads on the board are already applied in our factory.

100% impermeability at the edge

With this option, we leave a 7 cm overhang around the edge of the shower element when applying the sealing fleece. This overhang is simply glued up the wall and over the neighbouring floor. This allows you to achieve 100% impermeability in the edge area, because the shower element acts like a closed tray!

Drain design

We supply you with a stainless steel grating for the point drain with the shower element. If you would like a more extravagant solution, you can choose from other high-quality designer gratings for an additional charge. The grate is infinitely height-adjustable from 0.6 cm to 3.5 cm for different tile thicknesses. The drain design is optionally tileable for tile thicknesses of up to 1 cm.
